Given rapid changes in societies around the world that are associated with sexuality, the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality will host a member's poster session that seeks to provide opportunities for our members to share late breaking work and work in progress that was not ready for submission during the regular call for abstracts. This session is a newly created special event that will occur during the Annual Meeting and is designed to provide a forum to ensure that our members are able to share their important work with colleagues.
Abstracts are due no later than September 1, 2015. Individuals with an active SSSS membership and who plan to register for and attend the Annual Meeting can submit one abstract as presenting author; there is no limit to the number of abstracts which one may be a co-author with another member who will be the lead presenter. The presenting author must be an active SSSS member at the time of the meeting.
This session is a poster only session and will be held at a special time during the meeting that is designed to facilitate networking and the dissemination of recent work. Empirical work, lessons learned, theoretical perspectives, and other forms of sexual science are welcomed and encouraged. Work in progress for which one is seeking feedback and guidance or feedback from colleagues is most welcome. Work that reflects the Annual Meeting theme is particularly encouraged.
