Continuing Education (CE) and General Information

AASECT

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 53.5 total CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Provider #11-115-E. 

 

APA

The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality maintains responsibility for this program and its content. 

 

NCHEC

Sponsored by The Scientific Study of Sexuality, a designated provider of Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and or Master Cerified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 29.5 total Category 1 Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH). As you’re registering for the Annual Meeting, select the ‘Continuing Education Registration’ button. If you already registered for the Annual Meeting, go to the Online Store to purchase the CE Registration only.

 

If you’re registering with the SSSS Office, please print the Registration Form, and fax or email your form, with payment.

 

·         CE Fee ($35.00) – Fee is required at time of registration.

 

 

CE CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

 

At the 2016 SSSS Annual Meeting, credits are awarded on a session-by-session basis. To receive a CE Certificate of Attendance, an attendee is required to:

·         Pre-register for the Annual Meeting, via online or registration form.

·         Sign-in at the beginning of each session*.

·         Sign-out at the end of each session*.

·         Complete the ENTIRE Evaluation Form*.

 

*There will be a room monitor at each session, for CE Attendees to sign-in and sign-out at each session. It is your responsibility to complete an Evaluation Form, and to hand in your form at the time of signing out.

 

 

CE SESSIONS

 

As a CE Participant, you do not have to attend every session. You receive credit for the sessions you attend. All CE Organizations require you to sign-in, sign out, and complete the entire Evaluation Form to receive your CE credits.

SPECIAL SERVICES

BILLING POLICY

 

Billing Policy: A charge of $50 will apply to all returned checks.

 

 

REFUND POLICY FOR ANNUAL MEETING, PRE-CONFERENCE, and CE FEES

 

All cancellations MUST be made in writing/email for the Annual Meeting, Pre-Conference, and CE Fees. If the letter/email is received by September 15, 2016, your full registration will be refunded. If the letter/email is received between September 16th and October 10th, a $100 administrative fee will be charged. Refunds will not be made if you cancel your registration after October 10, 2016. Refund fees are returned to the person in a check, and will not be refunded on a credit card.
