AASECT

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 5.5 total CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Provider #11-115-E. (5.5 total CE hours may be earned)

 

APA

The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality maintains responsibility for this program and its content. (5.75 total CE hours may be earned)

 

NCHEC

Sponsored by The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 6.0 total Category I continuing education contact hours.

You must register as a CE Participant

 

As you’re registering for the Symposium Online, select the ‘Continuing Education Registration for Symposium’ button. If you already registered for the Symposium, go to the Online Store to purchase the CE Registration only.

 

If you’re registering with the SSSS Office, please print the Registration Form, and fax or email your form, with payment.

 

·         CE Fee ($10.00) – Fee is required at time of registration with the SSSS Office.

 

 

 

CE CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

 At the 2016 SSSS Symposium, credits are awarded on a session-by-session basis. To receive a CE Certificate of Attendance, an attendee is required to:

·         Pre-register for the Symposium, via online or registration form

·         Pre-register to be a CE Participant by calling the SSSS Office  ($10.00 CE Fee)

·         Sign-in at the beginning of the session*

·         Sign-out at the end of each session*

·         Complete the ENTIRE Evaluation Form

 

*There will be a room monitor at each session, for CE Attendees to sign-in and sign-out at each session. It is your responsibility to complete an Evaluation Form, and to hand in your form at the time of signing out.

 

 CE SESSIONS

As a CE Participant, you do not have to attend every session. You receive credit for the sessions you attend. All CE Organizations require you to sign-in, sign out, and complete the entire Evaluation Form to receive your CE credits.

SPECIAL SERVICES

Persons with disabilities, who require special accommodations, while attending sessions, should contact the SSSS Office (thesociety@sexscience.org) by July 8th, 2016.

 

 

BILLING POLICY AND REFUND POLICY FOR SYMPOSIUM AND CE FEE

 

All cancellations must be made in writing for the Symposium Fee and CE Fee. If the letter is received by June 15, 2016, your full registration will be refunded. If the letter is received between June 16th and July 1st, a $50 administrative fee will be charged. Refunds will not be made if you cancel your registration after July 1, 2016. Refund fees are returned to the person in a check, and will not be put on a credit card.

 

Billing Policy: A charge of $50 will apply to all returned checks.
