Note: the application instructions and linked application form have changed. Please follow these instructions carefully.
- Prepare an MS Word document (.doc or .rtf), with a maximum of 5 pages for the title and description of the proposed research and 2 pages for the bibliography (double-spaced). Do not put your name or the name of your institution in the document. This should be sufficiently detailed to enable the readers to understand the research question, your hypothesis, methods, and proposed statistical analysis (as applicable).
- Prepare a proposed budget for your project, again in Word. Include other sources of income or funding you have received or will receive. Again, please do not indicate your name or institution within the budget document.
- Prepare a current CV of the Principal Investigator.
- Obtain IRB approval or equivalent.
- The form requires inclusion of a 150-word abstract of the proposed research. This short abstract will be used by The Society in a summary of all projects submitted and should stand on its own apart from the full abstract. The title must appear on the abstract.
- The form requires a short biographical sketch suitable for use in The Society's NEWSLETTER to introduce the winner of the grant.
- Complete the online application form. Items 1-6 must be done prior to final form completion.
