ANNUAL MEETING

The Society of the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) hosts an Annual Meeting early to mid-November of each year. The meeting allows individuals the opportunity to share a common interest in understanding the best and newest research, time to connect with their peers, and network with other disciplines in the sexuality field. Disciplines include:  researchers, educators, physicians, psychologists, nurses, sociologists, therapists, anthropologists, biologists, historians, clergy, and students in related fields of study. The Annual Meeting consists of invited plenaries, and concurrent research presentations, poster sessions, along with sponsors, exhibitors, and advertisers. SYMPOSIUM

SSSS hosts/co-hosts one-day Symposiums, which allows individuals the opportunity to meet and discuss a particular subject within the sexuality field. The symposium consists of invited speakers, within the local communities and/or universities. Symposium events are often linked with other conferences, or like-minded college or university programs. SUMMER RESEARCH INSTITUTE

The SSSS Sexual Science Summer Research Institute is our newest, and signature training event. The research conducted in sexuality is only as good as the methodology, and statistical rigor used to create it. To this end, SSSS offers its own event to help sharpen the skills, and techniques of those conducting research in sexuality.
