Postdoc Positions in LGBT health at Northwestern University
The executive committee of Northwestern University’s T32 training program in SGM health and HIV, housed in the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing (ISGMH) on Northwestern University's Chicago, Illinois campus is recruiting THREE post-doctoral fellows for a research fellowship in SGM health to begin in Summer/Fall 2023 for our NIMH-funded T32 – Training Program in Translational Science, HIV, and Sexual and Gender Minority Health.
Fellows will be paired with one of our 40+ faculty mentors at Northwestern, who come from a variety of disciplines: Public Health, Medicine, Psychology, Sociology, HCI/UXD, Social Work, and Communications. Fellows will also complete a state-of-the-science curriculum to gain breadth and depth of knowledge in translational science, including quantitative methods, qualitative methods, intervention & trials, and implementation science. Appointments are for 2 years. Clinical opportunities are available for those pursuing licensure. Applications are due Dec 1.
Note that candidates do not need to have a primary research focus in HIV in order to be competitive for this fellowship.
