SSSS CE Statement
Certificate of Attendance Requirements
Reporting of Hours
Approval by Professional Organizations


SSSS is an approved sponsor of Professional Organizations and so is able to offer opportunities to earn continuing education credit hours (CECH).

Professionals registered to attend the 2024 SSSS Annual conference have the opportunity to register to earn CECH during the conference for an additional fee.  

It is your responsibility to determine the acceptability of these programs/sessions for specific licensure or certification needs.  


SSSS does not condone, recommend, or support any products mentioned in any continuing education session.


SSSS maintains responsibility for the SSSS Annual Conference Program.

A CE Certificate of Attendance will be emailed to each participant if a participant pre-registers to earn continuing education credit hours and all information below is completed for each session that you attend.

To receive a CE Certificate of Attendance, you must
:

  • Pre-Register: $49.00 USD - SSSS Member / $69.00 USD - Non-Member
  • In-Person Registrants: 
    • Continuing education credit hours will be offered during the plenary sessions and concurrent sessions. Up to 11.5 CE credit hours can be earned during the in-person conference.   
    • CE Registrants must sign-in and sign-out of every CE session they attend. Please make sure that you sign-in and sign-out as you enter/exit each session.
    • CE Registrants are asked to complete a CE evaluation form after each CE session they attend.

SSSS will report CECH hours to NCHEC – CHES®/MCHES® (per their requirement). Other than NCHEC – CHES®/MCHES®, it is the responsibility of the attendee to forward their CE Certificate to their professional organization, employer, state license agency, etc.


It is the participant’s responsibility to keep their CE Certificate for future use. 

AASECT: This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 17.5 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Completion of this program does not ensure or guarantee AASECT certification.
